Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) objectives to design, build, deliver and maintain ships, submarines, and systems reliably, on-time and on-cost for the Navy.   We are looking to hire a LEAN Functional Analyst for scientific, engineering, technical, and analytical (SETA) support to NAVSEA 04X and the Naval Shipyards. The LEAN Functional Analyst will be responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems to achieve improved maintenance execution at the Naval Shipyards.  The successful candidate will focus on shipyard and project team performance, including business policy, process, and strategy implementation.  The LEAN Functional Analyst will contribute to extensive investigations to understand root cause of issues across functions and business elements of shipyard and project team operations while providing other direct support to the Noblis LEAN Project Operations Manager in the execution of the following LEAN program objectives:  - Planning, training, coaching, facilitating LEAN events, metric development, solution implementation, sustainment, and integration functions or activities as necessary to successfully achieve process/performance improvement objectives - Initiative Identification and scoping of potential shipyard business improvement opportunities - Provide BCAs with particular focus on throughput, cycle time of shipyard business and industrial processes - Implementation of strategy and plans, including management of education and training support and initiatives
