Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management.  SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).    SURFMEPP’s System Engineers provide database management for assigned systems in M&SWP.  The C4I Engineer will update existing maintenance tasks and create new maintenance tasks to support maintenance on shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems for the Navy’s Surface Ship Fleet.  System Engineers attend meetings and communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide comments, recommendations, and follow-up on relevant issues and topics supporting C4I systems.

They provide database management for assigned systems in M&SWP, draft and update existing maintenance and modernization tasks to support the Navy’s Surface Ship Fleet. They will develop, track, and manage requirements for mandatory Class Maintenance Plan tasks for various hulls and availabilities under the guidance of senior personnel. 

Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management.  SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).   SURFMEPP’s Corrosion Systems Analysts are the Subject Matter Experts for development of corrosion/structural project implementation, interfacing with Navy activities to develop or support corrosion/structural technologies; new corrosion mitigation initiatives, assisting in removing corrosion barriers, and communicating findings and recommendations to SURFMEPP Leadership.  The Analyst will participate in Corrosion Communities of Practice Working Group events to include MegaRust, Fleet Maintenance and Modernization Symposium (FMMS) and Standard Specifications for Ship Repair and Alteration (SSRAC).   The Analyst understands database principles and maintenance, and conducts engineering analysis of all corrosion reports, identifying corrosion trends and generating metrics for interpretation by Leadership.  Using Reliability Centered Maintenance principles, the Analyst will develop and  maintain Class Maintenance Plans for tanks, voids, and ship structure, and develop various SURFMEPP corrosion control processes and products - ensuring alignment with higher-level guidance.

Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management.  SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).    SURFMEPP’s Senior Regional Corrosion Planners (Project Analysts) assist the Government with overseeing execution and refinement of surface ship class corrosion plans during the advanced planning and planning process.  The Senior Planners provide best practice guidance and procedural training to other SURFMEPP Corrosion Planners on tracking Mandatory Technical Requirements (MTRs) and related services during CNO Availability execution.  The Senior Planner also provides quality control of SURFMEPP corrosion plans and leads as SURFMEPP’s primary Corrosion Subject Matter Expert to regional Surface Navy maintenance stakeholders.

The FAA’s System Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) portfolio will provide a broad range of Research, Service Analysis, Strategic Planning, Systems Engineering (SE), technical, financial, and programmatic support services that will enable the FAA to accomplish its National Airspace System (NAS), Mission Support and other aviation-related objectives. This exciting and diverse work includes technical, financial, and programmatic support services, and other aviation-related support services that fall within the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) Lifecycle Management Policy activities, including but not limited to: - Systems engineering and integration, - Investment and business case analysis, - System acquisition program planning and management, - System development and implementation planning and management, - System Life Extension Program/Technical Refresh planning, - Program and contract management, - Forecasting and business/financial/information management In addition, the candidate will be involved in Aviation, Innovation, and New Entrants related activities that fall outside the AMS Lifecycle Management Policy. This includes, but is not limited to research, analysis, and assessment supporting the development of systems, standards, policies, published rules, and procedures.

The Program Analyst – International will provide strategic, analytical, and program management support to the International Cooperative Program Office (ICPO) within the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate (S&T). ICPO enables DHS international engagements that discover innovation, leverage international capabilities, drive solutions, and influence science and technology security advancement world-wise.    The ICPO team develops partnerships with foreign governments and international organizations that enhance scientific and technical knowledge for homeland security purposes.  International cooperative partnership can improve operational effectiveness, enhance affordability, and provide S&T access to broader knowledge-base and partner capabilities to provide impact across DHS mission areas.   This position will be responsible for supporting country-level engagements by providing project management, facilitation, and relationship management; engaging across S&T, DHS, and USG partners to understand customer needs, analyzing technology requirements and partner capabilities, and working across regions to provide engagement recommendations. The successful candidate will navigate the nuanced relationships intrinsic to foreign partnerships and have strong program management skills.   The successful candidate will be self-motivated, operate well in a matrixed environment, successfully execute competing priorities, and be able to distill and communicate complex concepts to enable nontechnical managers to make informed decisions.   Responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to: - Lead international engagement project planning and control, including tracking progress, schedules, and government assigned action items; preparing project plans and milestones; status reports; and monitoring progress against milestones - Facilitate meetings between internal DHS partners and with outside, including international, partners with limited federal oversight. - Provide input and assistance in preparing international project briefs, composing project reports and documents. - Developing technical and programmatic status reports, PowerPoint briefings, and read-ahead materials. - Create and maintain records of project activities; Independently or under minimal guidance identify, collect, distill, organize, and maintain files of all program documents; Capturing best practices and lessons learned so documents can be transitioned efficiently within the office. - Maintaining organized and logical files for all necessary program documentation. - Manage communication with multiple stakeholders across DHS and with foreign partners, maintaining awareness of relevant compliance, disclosure, and agreement requirements. - Executive and administrative support in coordinating, organizing, and scheduling meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, and take meetings notes and attendance; Coordinate program level taskings to the program offices which may include congressional responses and program data calls. - Being conversant in details for discussion, both verbal and written, on ICPO programs and S&T international policies. - Assisting the customer by supporting the development of constructive relationships with program stakeholders across the Federal government, to include within DHS and outside of DHS. - Performing quality assurance.   The role may require international travel and occasional meetings outside of 9am - 5pm ET. Hybrid position. Must be available to be on client site (Washington, DC) routinely.
