Reporting directly to the Senior Director, DoD Capture & Business Development, Defense Mission Area.  This leader will drive the strategic direction and execute on all business development, capture and proposal management activities across the Air Force market. The director will be responsible for developing customer and partner relationships to strengthen the BD pipeline and support growth goals of $100+ million in annual revenue within the next 5 years.   Responsibilities   The Air Force Business Development Director is responsible for the identification, pursuit, capture, proposal submission of all opportunities in his/her assigned account. The qualified candidate must thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full capture life cycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals across the US Air Force. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-directed individual to qualify new business opportunities, develop winning capture strategies, and execute the strategies to successfully capture identified opportunities. In performing this role, he/she will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional team members as well as operational leadership, and SMEs in the Defense Mission Area.
