Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  We are currently looking to hire a PLC Programmer. This position is for a machinery controls system engineer.  The main function of the candidate will be to provide lifecycle support of fielded and future Machinery Control Systems (MCS) on the USS ARLEIGH BURKE class of destroyer.  This includes shipboard support as well as Land Based Engineering Site (LBES) support.  The USS ARLEIGH BURKE MCS is comprised of several variants spanning various technologies. The newest technology variant focuses on industry standard commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment inclusive of ruggedized computers and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.   PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lifecycle support of the supervisory machinery control system which includes, but is not limited to: - Provide design support for integration of equipment in an industrial/shipboard environment - Provide technical input to the design of future MCS systems - Develop, derive, and refine system and software requirements for future fielded systems - Troubleshooting complex problems of future fielded systems (PLC based control systems) both at LBES and shipboard - Review of technical documentation related to future fielded systems - Provide test support at LBES - Provide shipboard SW & HW installation support at LBES - Develop test procedures to exercise requirements of future fielded systems

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  Noblis MSD is seeking an In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) to support U.S. Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) programs.  You will provide engineering and technical assistance support at Norfolk VA   This is a full time position, and will consist of a combination of remote work, and onsite work at ships located in Norfolk, with anticipated travel to Philadelphia and Pascagoula.  The candidate will be responsible for oversight and coordination of waterfront activities onboard U.S Navy ships and provide technical expertise of Engineering Control System (ECS) to ship personnel. The candidate will identify/analyze/diagnose system faults and failures and provide recommendations for repair or assist ships personnel in repair. The candidate will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve shipboard problems. The candidate will attend recurring production meetings and provide daily updates of installation/repair activities as required. - - Complete Shipboard Operabilty Verification Tests for Engineering Control Systems - Assess proper integration with various systems - Travel to fleet concentration areas to facilitate technical installations, training, and or repairs up to 25% - Facilitate crew upgrade training as it pertains to new system installation and operation. - Provide subject matter expertise at status meetings. - Complete assigned tasking with minimal to no supervision. - Facilitate fleet implementation and fielding plans. - Develop and execute test plans. - Provide feedback and lessons learned for test plans and technical documentation

Noblis is seeking to hire a Cleared Data Scientist (All Levels) with an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI and Polygraph in Reston, VA   As a Data Scientist with our team, you will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative proof of concept and prototype solutions for our clients’ immediate mission challenges. In your role, you will work on multiple projects with teams of other data scientists, software developers, and SMEs to apply the best practices and state of the art data science and machine learning processes. As a data scientist you will be working closely with federal clients providing services to develop AI/ML models and weights to selected data to facilitate object detection, data triage, search/optimization, inference, facial recognition, behavior detection, and automated discovery and decision making, maintaining model versioning system and experience identifying new vulnerabilities in models. Graphic design intern will also be called to use InDesign to create 2-page flyers, tri-fold brochures, logo ideations, and other graphic and charts for customers. The applicant will also be called to mock-up tent cards, cut down, posters, and brochures for events. Work in person at 3-day conference in the Philadelphia Navy yard in June, signing in attendee and gathering lunch with other misc. needs. Knowledge in After Effects a plus
