The Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) advises the ARPA-H client and project teams on assigned aspects of acquisition planning and execution. E-IDS will consolidate several legacy IDS systems into a common platform to provide controllers with current and consistent information needed to perform air traffic operations from both local and enterprise sources. E-IDS will use a common hardware and software platform across over 400 NAS facilities, including En Route, Terminal, Tower, and Offshore domains.   The Validation & Verification Engineer will support the analysis, planning, design, and execution of the Development and Operational Test programs for the E-IDS. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, reviewing contractor deliverables, developing test plans and procedures, and executing tests. The Nobis team is also responsible for the design, construction, and operation of a large state-of-the-art lab environment that will be used for evaluating the functional capabilities and operational suitability of the system.   Work Location: William J. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new long-term program and help develop the program’s I/T requirements; providing system development from project start and the design phase. The candidate's responsibilities may include, but not limited to: - Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software requirements for new shipboard products. Use current programming languages and technologies to write code, perform testing, and debug applications.
