Noblis ESI is seeking a Project Engineer for its Chantilly location to:  - Serve as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) for a small satellite distributed command and control network, with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned groups and programs/projects. - Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of small satellite (Small Sat) requirements and ground systems capabilities with National Systems-based and Department of Defense (DoD) space architectures. - Serve as Agile software product owner and assist government program office with prioritization of the development contractor’s software backlog . - Provide presentations and demonstrations of Small Sat operational tools and capabilities to DoD and Intelligence Community, senior leadership, and decision makers. - Assist the PM/COTR during development of RFP packages and coordinate completion of technical evaluation of proposals received in response to RFPs. - Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, and PMRs to ensure development contractors are meeting program requirements and schedules. - Support the PM in multiple areas that include program management, acquisition support, analytic support, technical analysis, user requirement management/development, architecture development, and customer outreach. - Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal coordination across Directorates, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers.

As a junior sustainability analyst on our team, you will support a number of sustainability efforts, including in areas such as sustainability strategy, sustainable procurement, sustainable buildings and materials, circular economy, ESG, life cycle assessment, and sustainable supply chains. You may engage in other initiatives as well, such as developing educational/training content, quantitative data and economic analysis, and decarbonization-related initiatives. - Conduct analyses supporting the development of relevant policy related to sustainability strategy and planning, sustainable procurement, sustainable buildings and materials, and circular economy. - Assess potential life cycle environmental impacts of technologies, products, buildings, and organizations by applying a range of life cycle assessment and other related methodologies (e.g., EPD). - Develop decarbonization strategies and assess the embodied GHG emissions of products, supply chain sustainability, and other life cycle impacts. - Participate in initiatives related to ESG and sustainability performance reporting. - Participate in client meetings to clearly describe results of research and data analysis. - Ensure performance of tasks within scope and direction of the project manager. - Perform data analysis and data visualizations using Excel or other tools (e.g., openLCA, Tableau, R, PowerBI).

Noblis ESI is seeking a Project Engineer with a national space enterprise and ground systems acquisition background to work with our clients in supporting the future ground architecture.    Job Responsibilites: - Serve as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned teams and programs/projects Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities - Assist the PM/COTR in program management; strategic planning; cost, schedule, and performance monitoring and reporting; program synchronization; generating requests for information responses; cross-program coordination; and programmatics - Will support Agile-based program management and implementation of a Model-Base Systems Engineering approach - Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and PMRs - Support the PM in multiple areas which include systems, mission, and enterprise engineering; program management; acquisition support; analytic support; technical analysis; user requirement management/development; architecture; and customer outreach and support  - Serve as technical expert in their assigned area - Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers  

Noblis MSD's Fleet Introduction Project provides ESB Precommissioning Support to ship's Prospective Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Department Heads for administrative and technical services.  Fleet Introduction work is performed in an integrated support team environment that includes government and Noblis MSD teams that work closely with PEO SHIPS, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Shipbuilder and the ship's Crewmembers.    Candidate will provide Engineering Waterfront Support as follows:   - Assists the Site Manager with coordination and assistance with SUPSHIP, Ships force, PEO, and SURFOR in fleet requirements not reflected in build requirements.  - Engineering support includes LTT, CERW CERTS, ATG and Squadron visit coordination for work with the Crew in regards to any waterfront requirements (before and after move aboard).  - Provide ship checks as requested by PEO, ATG, and Ships Force - Assist with Program implementation IAW ATG ASA check sheets - Assistance with tag out transfer from ship yard to ships force - Assistance with LOA cold/hot check evolution process and choreography to include contractor performed checks. - Assistance may be required for all ship force departments.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and delivery of Machinery Control System (MCS) Training software for DDG-51 Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers. The selected candidate will be interfacing with U.S. Navy civilian software and systems engineers, support contractors, U.S. Navy ships force, OEMs, and engineering management. The selected candidate will contribute to all aspects of the software life cycle including, but not limited to, requirements definition, software development, documentation, testing, deployment, technical support, and maintenance.   DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain working knowledge of the DDG-51 Machinery Control System (MCS) Training Software - Design, develop, test, install, and maintain MCS Training software and supporting software products - Work with MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Coder (Real-Time Workshop), Microsoft Visual Studio, and Git version control - Identify and document software and system related problems - Resolve software problems through debugging, research, and investigation - Provide distance and onsite support of software problems - Prepare and maintain new and/or existing software requirements - Write, review, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials - Participate in special projects as required     WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is typically performed at client site locations in an office environment or Control System Test Labs. The Naval Surface Warface Center Philadelphia (NSWCPD) Machinery Control Systems (MCS) group (Code 552) is seeking a technician to support shipboard testing efforts in support of the DDG HM&E Mid-Life Upgrades Program. The candidate must have experience as an electrical technician, and the ability to troubleshoot control systems with the use of system documentation and electrical schematics. The candidate will be expected to work on a flexible work schedule to ensure priority tasking can be completed in the allotted timeframe. The candidate will be tasked by and report to technical leads within Code 552. The candidate will be expected to provide documented status updates on a regular basis.   PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Troubleshoot control systems with the use of system documentation and electrical schematics. - Provide test support for all variants of fielded systems at LBES and shipboard. - Provide shipboard software and hardware installation support of all DDG 51 variants of fielded systems at LBES and shipboard. - Provide documented status updates on a regular basis. - Act as a liaison between shipboard test team and technical leads back in Philadelphia - Maintain source information between jobs and tasking. - Aid in test procedure verification, edits, and implementation.

Noblis MSD is seeking a Business Process Lead for application integration process engineering development in the implementation of the DevSecOps solution for application hosting.  This requires an understanding of the CANES baselines and the approved hosted systems for each baseline.  Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and improving the PMW 160 Application Integration (AI) processes. The AI Process Lead will optimize process flow, reduce variability within the process, improve operating capabilities, evolve the process to meet emerging needs, and ensure process execution in a timely manner to support fielding of new or upgraded applications and systems to the fleet. The lead will also maintain project documentation, interact with internal and external stakeholders, and represent PMW 160 AI Process interests at a variety of meetings.   Key Responsibilities Include: - Maintain Process Asset Library Documents - Understanding and Maintenance of Key Application Integration (AI) - Monitor AI Process Execution - periodically review the status of Service Request Forms (SRF) to ensure they are not bottlenecked and that they are on track for certification in their assigned test events. - Liaise with PMW 790 to coordinate the PMW 160 AI Process and the PMW 790 AI Process - Shore to the extent possible. - Monitor DevSecOps activities and update AI Process based on lessons-learned as we execute the AI Process for applications using DevSecOps, the Overmatch Software Armory (OSA) and the RAISE process of incorporation into the ACS ATO. - Liaise with NAVIFOR Fleet Functional Area Manager (Fleet FAM) - update the NAVIFOR AI Enforcement Message as needed; collaborate with Fleet FAM Analysis Working Group to establish application baselines for new CANES variants (FFG(X) is the next one); occasionally cross-walk the PSC with the Fleet FAM Baseline Allowance Control (BAC) list.
