Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPP’s primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship’s expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).
SURFMEPP’s Platform Engineers are subject matter experts on managing and directing condition-based maintenance, ship repair and modernization programs, assessments, analysis and initiatives for ship structures, propulsion, generators and corrosion control. The Platform Engineer is the life cycle maintenance manager for the assigned ship class, responsible for:
- Long-term planning of all intermediate and depot level industrial maintenance and modernization.
- Conducting studies to improve advance planning and integration of ship maintenance and repair activities and ship availabilities.
- Assisting with the development of Navy policies for ship maintenance.
Role Summary: The CTR Contract Manager of Operations (MO) supports the Program Manager (PM) and Noblis ESI Business Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring administrative requirements are identified and completed. Oversight will include all Shared Services operations on the contract to include Accounting, Contracts, HR, IT, Procurement, and Security. The MO will also oversee, document, and ensure implementation of major business processes and procedures. They will also be responsible for the tracking and facilitation of major contract actions across all CTR Departments and facilitate CTR collaboration. Specific Operations Roles:

The Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) position supports a national security focused customer providing system security engineering services and/or product to ensure secure reliable and uninterrupted availability of customer developed and deployed systems and networks. The ISSE will support the Government to ensure core security engineering principles are implemented into assigned programs information systems architecture.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lifecycle cybersecurity support of US Navy systems, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Perform analysis and evaluation to design, implement, test and field secure systems, networks, and architectures
- Install and configure secure hardware and software systems and otherwise maintain the program’s technological infrastructure
- Conduct regular security audits and ensuring that systems are up-to-date with security patches
