Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  We are looking to hire an ILS Specialist to provide support to various ship programs for the US Navy.      The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certification Specialist candidate will directly work with Navy Logistics, ILS Documentation, and the Navy Supply System. This position will provide direct Government support. Facilitate the development and the integration of the supporting ILS Documentation for the Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Systems and Equipment installed across the US Navy. Additional duties may include the following:     Provide Life Cycle Logistics and ILS support for all Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems and Equipment installed across the US Navy.   Collect and analyze data for the purpose of providing metrics for ILS Feedback Reports.   Provide direct support to the assigned Government Logistics Program Manager.   Update and develop ILS Certifications   Assist in the integration of the supporting ILS Documentation for all HM&E Systems and Equipment.   Provide monthly ILS status and metrics reports, assist in the facilitation of meetings and program reviews.   Operating in CDMD-OA and working knowledge of MBPS       This a hybrid position that will allow you to work from home part of the time and you will also have to work out of the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

Noblis is seeking to hire a UX Designer with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Chantilly, VA   Noblis is looking for a User Experience Designer to facilitate effective design collaboration between the design and engineering teams. You will find intuitive solutions to complex problems and bridge the gap between the designers and Software Engineers. As a UX Designer you will collaborate and innovate with other colleagues, to address immediate mission challenges within the Intelligence Community (IC). Responsibilities: - Work with clients and our team of technical SMEs to develop and design a vision for a product. - Develop well-crafted research screeners and discussion guides.  - Write usability research screeners and discussion guides. - recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies. - Conduct stakeholder and client interviews. - Help develop and implement quantitative surveys. - Translate user insightes into actionable recommendations for client product teams. - Craft personas and guideposts to communicate insights across the client design and development teams. - Present design research findings to the larger group in a clear and organized fasion. - Work closely with product teams to identify research objectives. - Provide a high-quality user experience.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Voice Switch and Recorder (VS&R) Program Office manages seven different programs that procure and sustain voice switch and recording systems that enable critical, high availability Air Traffic Control (ATC) voice communications within the National Airspace System (NAS). The VS&R Program Office is responsible for acquisition and full life cycle program management of operational ATC Voice Communications Systems (VCSs), which includes development of requirements, procurement of new systems, verification, validation, testing, logistics, implementation, deployment, and sustainment/tech refresh of existing ATC voice communications systems.   The ATC Voice Systems Architect will support the FAA in modernizing air traffic control voice communications and will provide domain and technical expertise in the following areas: ATC voice communications, voice switch hardware, software, systems, analog/electrical/digital/VoIP interfaces, and networking. The engineer will collaborate with the team through system requirements development, industry/market research, source selection, system verification/validation, system implementation and full system life cycle planning and management. The engineer will facilitate coordination among the team’s functional areas to ensure program success. This position will support FAA VS&R programs and the VCS/VoICE acquisition and series of multiple procurements (APC/GPC/VCSs) by providing systems engineering acquisition & program support and leveraging knowledge of National Airspace System (NAS) Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications, voice switches and ED-137 VoIP for Air Traffic Control. Beyond these specific activities, this resource will also provide technical and program management support to other VS&R programs as needed. The candidate will also apply comprehensive system engineering principles to support the investigation, analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, testing, and evaluation of NAS equipment and procedures, particularly the integration and safety assessment of the ATC system. The candidate will also review and prepare engineering and technical analysis reports, and other technical and safety documentation. May also analyze, design, develop, implement and test software related to engineering or functional requirements of NAS and associated support systems.   The engineer will also support FAA safety management activities involving measures to mitigate hazards or reduce risks to an acceptable level, verification that mitigation measures are incorporated into product design and implementation, and assessment of residual risk and any other safety related activities.   The engineer will apply technical knowledge throughout the phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, leverage Project Management experience and collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure successful project/program execution. The Systems Engineer will interact with a team comprised of Noblis, Subcontractor, FAA and Vendor technical staff.  

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and delivery of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) modeling and detection software. Interface with Deparment of Defense (DoD) software and systems engineers, support contractors, and CBRNE Subject Matter Experts (SME). Contribute to all aspects of the software life cycle including but not limited to requirements definition, software development, documentation, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance.   PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Work with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control (Git) - Identify and document software and system related problems - Resolve software problems through debugging, research, and investigation - Provide distance and onsite support of software problems - Prepare and maintain new and/or existing software requirements - Write, review, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials - Participate in special projects as required

Noblis MSD has an immediate opening in the Portland Main area (Bath), for a Network Administrator to provide pre-commissioning Detachment/Unit Support for DDG, LCS, ESB, LHD and LPD class ships IT Systems. The Network Administrator will be involved with every aspect of IT from Helpdesk to Networking as needed.   - Daily, weekly, and monthly backups of exchange servers, supporting the PCU through HelpSTAR (ServicePRO) and working any requests that come in from users. - Creating and managing accounts, email addresses, distribution and security groups with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Management Console. - Setting permissions on folders using Security Groups in Active Directory. - Server administration including building and managing physical and virtual servers required for daily operation. - Server updates using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). - Building Images and reimaging PCs as required using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. - Completing STIG checklist in compliance with DISA requirements. - Scanning new systems with ACAS to ensure compliance with latest plugins. - Installing McAfee products (Agent, HIPS, DLP, and Antivirus) and monitoring all systems using HBSS to ensure compliance with DISA requirements. - Rebuilding of servers and knowledge of VMWARE and CITRIX environments will be beneficial. - Familiar with NMCI environment - data structure / permissions and Site Collection Administrator duties
