A&AS –Communications and Content Editor   This position will function as a Communications and Content Editor (A&AS) for the DTRA Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program and support their Public Affairs Office (PAO).  CTR works with other government agencies and cooperatively with global partners to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) to the United States and their global allies.  This position is a member of the Information Advantage (IA) team and directly supports CTR leadership, the DTRA PAO, and the Senior Communications and Content Editor. This position supports the  implementation of innovative communications products and content amplifying the mission and accomplishments of CTR with their global partners in addition whilst combatting disinformation campaigns from foreign malign influences  primarily from Russian and Chinese efforts.  This position will assist in identifying a broad range of themes, including focusing on strong country partnerships in historical and current context, coordinating and creating multiple products and their various objectives; and generally supporting PAO and CTR leadership with a multitude of recurring and pop-up deliverables.  The ideal personnel will have a diverse skillset, with expertise in areas including digital content strategy and creation; video production; strong grasp of the digital landscape in the information environment. DUTIES: - Understand, as directed, foreign media environment where CTR maintains active and passive footprints. - Work closely with the Senior Communications and Content Editor - Support efforts to tell the accomplished and layered story of CTR in an engaging and informative manner.
