Responsibilities

Are you an experienced technical writer looking for an exciting opportunity in the law enforcement and intelligence community? Do you have experience authoring and editing technical reports. Do you want to work for a great company while also impacting a valuable national security mission?

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Author and edit technical reports.
  • Provide recommendations for improving and/or streamlining report review process and overall document management.
  • Engage with Electrical Engineers and Electronics Technicians to derive required inputs and develop techincal written products.
  • Work independently with general instruction, adapt and apply Noblis’ principles, concepts, processes, tools and methodologies to solve real-world problems in a team environment.
  • Establish and support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Client Engagement

· Learn about the Noblis business development lifecycle, processes, tools, and account structure
· Contribute specialized domain or technical content to proposal sections or client white papers
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in English or a related field
  • 3 years of experience writing and editing technical documents for publication.
  • Familiarization with standards, styles, and formats for publishing in scientific and/or technical journals and publications.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Proven results-oriented problem solving abilities.
  • Facility with word processing, presentation graphics, and/or spreadsheet tools.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
