Responsibilities

The IRS Insider Threat Capability (InTC) is aligned with and supports the Department of the Treasury's Insider Threat Program. It is purposed towards identifying, analyzing, and reporting behavioral anomalies to the appropriate entity; and identifying risk to IRS systems, people, and resources. Member is responsible for the following:

-Work with and collaborate with a team of data scientists and analysts to guide efforts in identifying anomalous behaviors across IRS
-Document findings and manage the information flow of the anomaly reporting process ( from inception to archive
-Serve as analyst to review complex computer and and application logs. The majority of this position will be to review analytical output and documents findings. This person will present findings to team and government leadership for resolution.
-Compile and accomplish monthly deliverable reports in support of contractual requirements
-Travel to client sites as required to support InTC goals and objectives
-Advise, create, coordinate, and staff policy and procedures in support of InTC

Client Engagement

· Learn about the Noblis business development lifecycle, processes, tools, and account structure
· Contribute specialized domain or technical content to proposal sections or client white papers
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3+ years of work experience
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Understand network infrastructure; knowledge and understanding of Internet web transactions and associated traffic flows
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Linux command line and editor
• Ability to make informed analytic judgements and accurately and thoroughly document findings in a written and/or presentation format
• Desire to help the customer make better business decisions through the analysis of cyber threats, system development and big data
• Strong Analytic and creative problem solving abilities
