Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a Software Tester to support our DHS customer.

  • Design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality
  • Create, update, and execute interactive tests and create associated reports
  • Troubleshoot, reproduce, and log defects as needed
  • Maintain the system test plan and other related documentation
  • Perform Static Code Analysis (SCA) and analyze results to contribute towards better code quality
  • Prepare test metrics and present results in the Retrospective ceremony
  • Contribute to the decomposition and flow of tickets in an agile project management system

Client Engagement

· Learn about the Noblis business development lifecycle, processes, tools, and account structure
· Contribute specialized domain or technical content to proposal sections or client white papers
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or Master’s and 3 years related experience, or Doctorate and 3 years
  • Proficient in Python
  • Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket and Github
  • Working knowledge of current software testing methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum)
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with Docker or other container orchestration platforms
  • Top Secret (TS) Clearance
