Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is hiring for Space Protection Engineer with Top Secret SCI and Polygraph clearances in Springfield, Virginia.

 

The Space Protection Engineer is responsible for the defense of Government satellites from a wide array of non/kinetic threats. It ensures the continued mission success of space-based vehicles in a highly contested environment. It also provides mission planning and contingency operations to ensure the continuity of operations.

 

Client Engagement

· Support and lead evolving business development efforts by applying technical and functional expertise to develop business solutions.
· Lead proposal sections for small or limited competition proposals and actively participate in teaming strategy discussions

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degrees in STEM and 8-10 years of relevant experience 
  • GEOINT and space protection system knowledge. 
  • Experience with national overhead programs, their functionality and familiarity in designing tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP's) and concepts of operations (CONOPS) to deliver mission assurance during all phases of operation.
  • The candidate shall participate in and provide recommendations regarding system and sensor optimization studies. They shall also perform engineering assessments of vehicle experiments/exercises and provide recommendations based on the outcome of those assessments.
  • The candidate should expect to provide subject matter expertise to mission directors and crew commanders in an accurate, timely and deliberate fashion.
  • They shall also assist with the planning, integration and transition of future systems into existing baselines.

  • Air Force Weapons School Graduates are highly encouraged to apply, as well as those with Air Force space operations experience (AFSC core 13S ) and formal Air Force space PME.
