  • Responsibilities

    You are responsible for providing deep, technical expertise on a large Federal cloud security program (FedRAMP), that also include enhancing client relations, identifying and driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the success of multiple pojects. You will be directing work with others while applying your expertise and experience. You work in a team and serve as the primary contact for clients on assigned projects, leveraging knowledge of clients’ operations and business. You regularly interact with client representatives and build/use strong collegial networks to improve quality, grow new business, and shape new corporate objectives. You are able to manage uncertainty and risks in difficult situations, relationships, and problems. You communicate, diagnose, and facilitate consensus in a variety of situations setting clear expectations for execution.

    The team, including this position, includes FedRAMP A&A SMEs who also perform as project managers and NIST RMF subject matter experts.  We are more ISSR/M than ISSO as we assist the cloud service provider and agency representatives through the FedRAMP compliance process while ensuring the highest quality products are produced for reuse across the entire federal government.  We are seeking highly qualified individuals to shepherd all stakeholders through the process.

     

    Responsibilities:

    The FedRAMP Technical SME will provide project management subject matter expertise to cloud service providers, deep technical advice to government clients, and manage the Noblis team to drive results.  Additionally, the Technical SME must oversee the technical aspects of the FedRAMP team to drive successful completion of projects and tasks.

     

    Responsibilities include:

     

    • Manage the technical client relationship
    • Provide Technical solutions, Strategic direction and execute the vision of the FedRAMP PM
    • Develop guidance
    • Manage stakeholders
    • Drive results
    • Work with agencies and cloud service providers to ensure FedRAMP Assessment and Authorization (A&A)  packages are consistent with FedRAMP requirements
    • Conduct thorough and critical reviews of A&A documentation, including reviewing NIST and FedRAMP compliant A&A documentation
    • Evaluate cloud computing architectures and identify weaknesses
    • Analyze system risks and provide recommendations for risk acceptance or rejection
    • Identify and propose solutions to resolve security deficiencies
    • Refine and proposed modifications to security requirements and specifications
    • Develop and refine FedRAMP guidance, policies and procedures

    Client Engagement

    · Contribute to large capture strategies, actively engage with clients, and market Noblis capabilities externally
    · Foster appropriate identification and selection of business development opportunities, and provide thought leadership to help shape future work
    · Win 2 task orders, identify big bets or take responsibility for a re-compete

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors in Information Technology or Management or related field is required
    • Certifications: PMP, CISSP/CCSP or similar security certification
    • At least 5 years of experience in Management AND FISMA/RMF/FedRAMP
    • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and FedRAMP leveraging
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Strong Communication Skills and ability to simplify complex issues
    • Ability to work independently and manage a large team of professionals 
    • Ability to manage tight and changing deadlines
    • Ability to communicate with executive levels of the government and corporate leadership
    • Ability to multi-task.  handle pop-up requests and manage time effectively across more than one initiative
    • Strong customer service
    • Ability to follow up on numerous ongoing tasks
    • All Noblis employees must be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building and management skills
    • Strong understanding of the FISMA/RMF/NIST SP 800-53/FedRAMP process
    • Strong technical background and broad understanding of the latest cloud and networking technologies to provide technical guidance and direction
