The Cybersecurity Stratgey Consultant - Training Skill Level 2 candidate shall provide consutling services in support of senior U.S. Government leaders and assist the U.S. Government (USG) in support of its cybersecurity training and workforce initiatives, to include the development of policy and coordination of activities and events. He/she shall also coordinate on documenting policies and processes, group activities, and interdependencies related to the College of Cyber mission, and any National Security Council-related initiatives.
The Level 2 Cybersecurity Strategy Consultant - Training Skill Level 2 candidate shall possess the following capabilities:
Serve as the Noblis senior strategy consultant for cybersecurity strategic training initiatives.
Provide strategic planning support by drafting, researching, and developing policy for senior US Government leaders for the development and implementation of cybersecurity training initiatives to include: Workforce frameworks; National Education guidance; and National human capital strategies.
Facilitate and support initiatives to develop cyber workforce in conjunction with academia, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense (DoD).
Assist in the evaluation and elimination of redundancies in training pipelines with the goal of saving time and resources in training the cyber workforce across DoD.
Work with NCS to assist in determining the equivalency between NCS and courses executed by other organizations. This process includes the study of knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) needed for work role performance, determining the learning objectives of courses, and mapping the KSAs to learning objectives.
Identify training gaps and advise NCS on potential future training needs resulting from policy and in the execution of the duties performing the tasks outlined.
Facilitate and support strategic planning sessions aimed at identifying and prioritizing cybersecurity initiatives and challenges for NSA.
Consolidate input from across agencies contributors to draft Cybersecurity products (e.g. documents, briefings) for group review and finalization.
Research and advise leadership on concepts and ideas for advancing cybersecurity that shapes future national-level policy.
