  • Responsibilities

    Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provides health insurance to more than one third of all Americans. In addition, CMS is responisble for managing the CMS data that is provided, shared, and governed in an accurate, timely, and meaningful manner will help drive the transformation of the health care delivery system.


    Noblis works with its clients to design and maintain reference data models used to build data services. As part of the data modeling team you will:

     

    * Assist service developers in finding relevant content in the existing reference models,
    * Assist service developers in adding new data concepts to their services,
    * Identify new content that needs to be added to the existing reference models,
    * Provide technical support to a review team that approves those additions, and
    * Communicate the vision and status to CMS business owners.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachleor's degree in Computer Science, Healh Informatics, or a related field + 5 years experience
    • Experience maintaining complex data models as well as data design standards for data element names and their definitions.
    • Experience with UML and MagicDraw
    • Experience with XML and XML Schema technologies
    • Experience leading multiperson teams and responsibility for metrics project delivery metrics (client satisfaction, budget, schedule)
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

     

    DESIRED:

     

    • Exprieince developing solutions for proposals, Request for Information or other opportunity capture efforts
    • Experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services
    • Experience with NIEM and/or HL7, FHIR
    • Experience with a programming language (especially Java, Python, Scala)
    • Experience providing technical direction and mentoring to at least 2 or more people
    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Healh Informatics
