  • Responsibilities

    Noblis is seeking a highly talented executive to serve as our firm’s Chief Technology Officer. 


    The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be a member of the Noblis executive leadership team and will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating Noblis’ technical and scientific vision and strategy.  This significant role will shape technology investments for Noblis and align capability development and solution platforms to client needs.  This executive will be responsible for recognizing new developments in science and technology and anticipating trends.  He or she will be responsible for engaging with Noblis Clients and staff to analyze, prototype, develop, evaluate, or recommend solutions to complex problems.  The CTO is responsible for enhancing our professional contributions and brand, promoting collaboration with clients, industry and our employees, and strengthening the Noblis research and patent portfolio. 



    • Lead the development of technical roadmaps and future vision to align with client priorities. 
    • Identify opportunities to develop, enhance or integrate new capabilities to meet client needs. 
    • Apply scientific and technical subject matter expertise in support of business development, capture, solution development and proposal activities and client engagement. 
    • Identify and analyze science and technology trends and provide insights and guidance to technical and business teams and clients. 
    • Actively manage the development and deployment of the Noblis Patent and Publications Portfolio. 
    • Represent and promote the company in external events and build relationships with clients, industry, and academic institutions. 
    • Create a work environment where people can realize their full potential; allowing Noblis to meet current and future business challenges.  Mentoring mid and junior level talent. 
    • Lead the development and implementation of Data Management and Protection Strategies. 
    • Drive high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishments and improvements. 
    • Enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing across the enterprise. 


    Qualifications and Experience 

    • 15-20 years of technical or scientific leadership experience 
    • 5 years’ experience as a CTO or equivalent in the government contracting field. 
    • Strong communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills. 
    • Successful role leading teams in the consulting space and exposure to Intelligence (IC), Defense and Federal Civilian markets. 
    • Experience working and interacting with senior officers and executive customers in the National Security (IC) and Defense space. 
    • Advanced degrees in scientific or technical disciplines with applied experience in emerging information technologies such as, digital platforms, machine learning, data analytics, DevOps, cloud computing, internet of things, software defined networking, bioinformatics, cybersecurity, satellites, instrumentation, sensing, and autonomous systems.  
    • Experience with patent portfolio and Research and Development (R&D) management 
    • Demonstrated success record and strong professional reputation and a vibrant professional network 
    • Active TS/SCI clearance
