Responsibilities

Noblis is hiring a GEOINT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING LEAD with a Top Secret SCI clearance in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Position to begin on, near or before March 1, 2018.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide GEOINT Subject matter Expertise (SME) for execution of TENCAP programs and development initiatives.
  • Provide assessments and evaluations on viability and application of TENCAP programs on GEOINT end users.
  • Ensure geospatial interoperability throughout the Army Geospatial Enterprise (AGE) including Mission Command Systems such as
    • Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A),
    • Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P),
    • Joint Capability Release (JCR)
    • Command Post of the Future (CPOF)
    • NettWarrior
    • Computing Environments (CEs)
  • Analyze/design needs and concepts of operation across the full spectrum of operations
  • Provide assessments on performance and feasibility of Terrestrial, Aerial, and Space-based GEOINT components of Army TENCAP architectures
  • Evaluate GEOINT architectures' cost, schedule and performance risk including mitigation recommendations for the government
  • Recommend and evaluate policy, architecture, requirements and system development decisions for Army Staff.
  • Apply expertise to project the level of operations required for various scenarios for a broad spectrum of intelligence disciplines
  • Participate in forums concerning employment, acquisition, and development of GEOINT collection, processing exploitation and dissemination systems.
  • Work in a team environment in both leadership and support roles with varying Government, SETA and FFRDC teammates
  • Monitor emerging technologies and initiatives to integrate new capabilities into systems
  • Conduct corporate responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must have and maintain an Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
  • BS in engineering, mathematics, physics, equivalent scientific discipline; OR significant domain experience and customer knowledge
  • Minimum of 15  years of experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD or IC intelligence systems
  • 8+ years in an engineering position in support of Military and/or IC GEOINT systems and capability development
  • 5+ years in an engineering management position leading a technical team working on DoD or IC programs/projects
  • Knowledge of the IC customer's GEOINT architectures, acquisition programs, overhead systems and phenomenology

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Excellent written and oral communications, and MS Office applications
  • Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS locations as needed

Desired:

  • Master's degree in pertinent field preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Army background is preferred
  • Knowledge of IC functional manager’s organizations, roles and responsibilities within the current customer intelligence community
