    Your contributions will make an enduring impact on Noblis Sponsored Research.  This opportunity is located at our Center for Applied High Performance Computing (CAHPC) in Danville, Virginia.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Proof of U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
    • A GPA of 3.3 or higher in your undergraduate or graduate studies (we are seeking BS, MS, and PhD candidates).
    • Demonstrated analytical skills, strong written and oral communication skills and team work skills.
    • Demonstrated software development and/or Computer Science/Engineering skills.
    • A solid background in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or Math.

    Just to be clear, we do not expect you to know all of the above technologies!  A handful would be great.  You will have the opportunity to grab a big handful from the above list during the internship!




    All motivated applicants with a solid technical background are encouraged to apply.  You do not need to live in Danville to be considered.  Applicants will be involved in cutting edge research and development, and will gain valuable experience.  The CAHPC is a research and development arm of a very solid company with its headquarters in Reston, Virginia.  Successful applicants will interact with leading minds from across the company on a regular basis using video teleconferencing and other electronic means.


    While Noblis does not provide temporary housing or subsidize the cost of temporary housing for summer interns, temporary affordable housing is readily available at nearby Averett University.
