This is an opportunity for an experienced Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) System Administrator to join a dynamic team working to implement and manage the FAA’s highly-visible System Wide Information Management (SWIM) program as part of the NextGen transformation initiative to modernize the National Airspace System (NAS). in this role, you will lead the system administration and release deployments for the application used to bring FAA data publishers and FAA data consumers together as part of the SWIM vision and mission.
Specific responsibilities include:
Knowledge of content management platforms, specifically Drupal 7. The ideal candidate will understand the Drupal architecture as well as supplemental modules that aid administrators in Drupal deployments.
Experience with virtualization technologies and migration paths to cloud infrastructure (specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure).
Demonstrated knowledge of website and application security principles and best practices.
