The Pricing Analyst must function in a fast paced environment and work closely with Capture and Proposal teams to develop cost proposals while ensuring compliance and schedule adherence. In this role you will:


  • Support Mission Areas and Program Managers in pricing efforts
  • Interface with operations staff to develop and price staffing profiles
  • Support phases of the solicitation process such as requests for information (RFIs), RFP responses and basic negotiations to determine feasibility and areas of financial risk.
  • Prepare cost/price proposals, budgetary estimates, fee analyses and a variety of ad-hoc assignments.



Basic Requirements:

  • A proven track record of successfully leading major ($50M+) winning competitive U.S. government cost proposal development efforts, from pre-RFP/RFQ release stages through contract award.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Masters/MBA a plus. Related industry certifications also a plus.
  • At least six (6) years of hands-on industry experience with U.S. government cost accounting, pricing/estimating, and project control/project management functions. Experience within services sector of a major competitive U.S. government contractor highly desired.
  • Knowledge of CAS, FAR, TINA, and DCAA audits as they relate to cost/price proposals.
  • In-depth understanding of contract types, including CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.
  • Working knowledge of GSA Schedule contracts and pricing concepts (PSS, IT70, 03FAC, etc.)
  • Advanced analytical skills with an aptitude for numbers, internal motivation and self-initiative, detail orientation, and organizational/managerial skills in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Effectiveness working independently, and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with all levels of personnel.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access). Strong Excel skills, including working with large and complex spreadsheets, are a must.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Project Control experience is a plus. Project Control activities could include the below:
  • Provide budget, cost and EAC analysis on direct and indirect project and programs
  • Support proposal and contract team members in new and follow-on business activity
  • Support our Procurement, Finance and Accounts Payable teams
  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
