Overall Program Summary:

The Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI) is the central management office for the business case development and execution of large-scale (>10MW) renewable and alternative energy security projects with preferred financing through private capital investment. Focused on holistic energy security/resiliency solutions, the mission is to work partnership with Air Force installations to understand mission requirements and deliver creative security/resiliency solutions that mitigate 21st century threats to the grid. OEA reports directly to Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Air Force, Environment, Safety, and Infrastructure (SAF/IEE), Deputy Chief of Staff, Civil Engineering (DCS/A4C), and Director, Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC).
