The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the Client Financial Management Team providing guidance to executive and senior-level federal clients overseeing a cybersecurity program.  Primary responsibilities include providing in-depth financial analysis for IT program reporting and process improvement recommendations necessary for maturing current financial management practices. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to improve financial reporting quality imrovements and complex problem solving skills. She/He will exercise excellent analytical capabilities and communication skills as part of a team that will present, influence, and recommend approaches to the client for maturing program financial management practices. Experience working within CMMI frameworks, Lean Six Sigma, and developing program lifecycles and operational processes within a new organization are a plus.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Experience with IT program budgeting lifecycle planning and reporting
  • Excellent Access and Excel skills desired
  • Ability to reseach and explain variance analysis, data reconcilliations, and accounting transactions
  • Forecasting expenditures; estimates to complete; estimate at completion
  • Understanding of concepts such as Return on Investment, Discounted Cash Flows, and Payback Period
  • Assume responsibility for the completion of deliverables and project goals
  • Documenting processes such as: Budget cycle, Invoice payment, and Commitment tracking
  • Collaborate with Noblis and client team members through written and verbal interactions and presentations
  • Apply excellent consulting and interpersonal skills to a range of business situations


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields with a minimum of four years of related experience. MBA or Master’s degree in related field is desirable. Other fields of specialty will be considered.

  • Knowledge and experience in financial analysis, procurement, consulting, and Information Technology preferred.
  • Data Warehouse reporting using Data Manipulation Tools (Excel, Access, Talend, Tableau etc.).
  • Process analysis, improvement and documentation experience desired.
  • Apply knowledge of IT, project artifacts, and hardware preferred.
  • Understanding of Financial Management fundamentals as well as capital planning and cost model development.
  • All candidates must have strong communication and writing skills, ability to solve problems independently, responsible for meeting deadlines.
  • The position requires a professional work attitude, ability to communicate openly with management and co-workers, and to work as a team player.
