Technical Solutions Architect with ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI Clearance in Reston, VA
Noblis is seeking an inquisitive and technically curious individual that has a passion for researching and translating complex topics into compelling and impactful solutions that align to current or future client needs. The candidate is comfortable working across teams within the Mission Area and across Noblis, with in-person and virtual engagements. This individual proactively engages with technical capability developers and senior account leads to understand client needs/requirements and identifies Noblis capabilities that exist or need to be developed to successfully win/deliver new work. The candidate must have a thirst to learn new information gained through individual research and interactive people-oriented interviews and collaboration, is organized and efficient at documenting essential data points via existing or innovative new templates and is highly effective at creatively writing a range of documents – from single page “slick sheets” to formal Government responses to include RFIs, white papers, abstracts, and proposals that articulate the value that Noblis brings to our client’s mission. The candidate must have a strong technical background with a broad range of understanding across technical disciplines with a constant desire to learn new technology concepts, recognize technological trends, and thrive on helping to evangelize Noblis’ unique innovations to diverse audiences.
Typical responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives, analyzing existing systems and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement, and designing and documenting solution architectures and technical specifications. Solutions architecture roles also involve evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to support solution development, and leading cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, and analysts to implement and deploy solutions. Additionally, professionals may be involved in conducting proof-of-concept projects, prototyping new technologies, and providing guidance and support to stakeholders on solution architecture best practices and standards. Their expertise in areas such as application architecture, cloud computing, and software design patterns enables organizations to develop innovative and effective solutions that drive business value and competitive advantage.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
