Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex technical solutions for federal clients. This role requires a balance of hands-on programming expertise and strategic architectural vision. The Solution Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and meet client requirements. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and capable of leading teams, working directly with clients, and contributing to business development efforts.

 

Responsibilities:

The Solution Architect will:

  • Lead technical teams in the development of approaches and complex solutions in the areas of data science, advanced analytics, cyber security, machine learning, application development, and/or enterprise IT.
  • Lead the architecture and design of complex enterprise solutions across a variety of technology stacks.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Develop innovative and scalable solutions, integrating new technologies and approaches as needed.
  • Investigate ways to use artificial intelligence in development applications.
  • Lead teams of developers, data engineers, and other technical staff through the full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation and deployment.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and adjusting strategies as required.
  • Provide technical leadership in areas such as application development, data management, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Participate in proposal development, solution presentations, and business capture efforts.
  • Maintain and improve existing solutions by incorporating new features and technologies.

 

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and minimum 10 years of related experience, Master’s and 8+ years of related experience, or Doctorate and 6 years related experience; or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding them in the development of cutting-edge solutions.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including data management, security, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.
  • Solid programming experience with languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocol) and RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).

Desired Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the U.S. federal market is preferred, with exposure to FAA or other government agencies.
  • Experience in federal government contracting, including proposal development and business capture efforts.
  • Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Agile development and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to design cloud and hybrid architectures and integrate with on-premises systems.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $145,100.00 - USD $226,700.00 /Yr.
