Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a creative and technically accomplished individual that has a passion for researching, understanding, and applying existing and emerging technologies to our government client’s biggest technical mission challenges. This person must be able to develop and architect compelling and impactful solutions that align to current or future needs of Noblis’ clients. The candidate will be comfortable working across Noblis enterprise, participating within in-person and virtual engagements with colleagues, staff, and clients. This individual proactively engages with technical capability developers and senior account leads to understand client needs/requirements and then moves to identify either existing Noblis capabilities or new capabilities that need to be developed to successfully grow and expand our programs across the Mission Area.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • The candidate must have a demonstrated history of learning and understanding the latest technologies as well as a strong desire to take this knowledge gained through individual research and interactions with Noblis staff and clients (e.g., collaborations and meetings) and apply this to generating novel solutions.
  • The candidate will also organize this information efficiently by documenting essential data points via existing or innovative new templates and be highly effective at creatively writing a range of documents – to include RFIs, white papers, abstracts, and proposals that articulate the technical approach and overall solution and value/benefit that Noblis brings to our client’s mission.
  • The candidate must have a strong technical background with a broad range of understanding across technical disciplines (e.g., data structures, cloud platforms, artificial intelligence and machine learning, basic understanding of edge engineering/science, and data visualization) with a constant desire to learn new technology concepts, recognize technological trends, and thrive on helping to evangelize Noblis’ unique innovations to diverse audiences.
  • Strong technical acumen across a broad range of disciplines with the ability to independently research new technologies and formulate unique and compelling approaches for addressing client requirements.
  • Collaborate with business development, programmatic, and technical/scientific leaders to prioritize and deliver technical assistance on projects/proposals.
  • Develop catalog of technical capabilities being delivered across accounts to be used for gap assessment, investment recommendations, past performance, and marketing.
  • Willingness to travel to Noblis and client locations for engaged understanding of team and client requirements.

Required Qualifications

 

  • Must have a Bachelor Degree with 12 years of related experience; OR Master's Degree with 10 years of experience; OR a PhD with 8 years of experience; OR Associate Degree with 15 years of experience; OR    High School diploma with 18 years of experience.
  • Preferred experience includes familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Data Science, Cloud platforms, digital engineering, data structures, visualization techniques, innovative processes, technical solution transitions, basic cyber concepts.
  • Experience with disciplined government contracting proposal requirements to include CONOPS, graphic depictions of technical solutions, and proposal writing
  • Experience working with senior members of Government (e.g., SES level clients)
  • Able to demonstrate creativity in crafting compelling write-ups and graphic depictions that articulate complex approaches, unique capabilities, and in-depth expertise within RFI and proposal responses.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to articulate compelling arguments against client requirements.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts in easy-to-understand terminology.
  • Ability to research technically complex topics and share insights that directly contribute to client engagements, NSR ideation, and investment recommendations.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with technical leaders across Noblis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work against deadlines with speed and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is highly desired.
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a master’s degree preferred.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.


 

Posted Salary Range

USD $159,600.00 - USD $249,375.00 /Yr.
