Responsibilities

This position requires extensive travel to support the Commissioning Support Team (CST) in the commissioning of U.S. Navy ships. 
 
Duties include developing and disseminating communications to stakeholders to include; the cognizant Navy Program Office, ship’s commissioning committee, ship’s crew, and state and federally elected leaders. The individual will monitor the inputs of stakeholders in providing necessary information to successfully organize and execute the ships ceremony.
 
The successful candidate will manage various Government sponsored invitations programs.  They will interpret the technical data of these programs and provide developers with critical feedback to support program upgrades and improvements.
 
The individual will provide direct support to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office (PEO) in developing and implementing supporting plans of action for Distinguished Visitor guests and their families.
 
The individual will track VVIP and VP requests to support the cognizant PEO in developing itineraries and will access the transportation needs of Cabinet Level Officials, Senior Officers and other dignitaries. This includes professional interactions with Executive Level Staffs.
The individual will attend meetings, workshops, and program reviews to recommend to the stakeholders and division manager appropriate methods to successfully meet the above goals.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys travel! There are 6 remaining hulls scheduled to commission in 2024 and approximately 10 in 2025. You will get the opportunity to travel to the site of the commissionings. Trips will be 7-10 days per ceremony. On average, you can expect about 14 trips a year. Some months might have two events and some months will have no events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degreee in a realted field OR Associates degree and a minimum of three years of related experience or High School diploma and a minimum of six years’ of related experience. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, Project and Publisher Programs: intermediate-level PC knowledge skills (PC’s, peripherals and associated software packages.) 
  • Demonstrated self-starter and innovator.  

Desired Qualifications

  • Must be able to manuever aboard US Navy Ships.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance. 
  • US Citizenship. 
  • Experience in the following areas is an asset:  USN administrative experience and experience interfacing with high-level military or government officials.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.


 

Posted Salary Range

USD $45,810.00 - USD $71,595.00 /Yr.
