Responsibilities

Noblis MSD supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) in their mission to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.

 

Noblis MSD is seeking an analyst with experience in U.S. Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Engineering (H&ME) ship systems to assist with the development and dissemination of Naval Messages and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Advisories.

 

Daily tasking for this position will include:

  • Coordinate with Government clients to update existing and develop new Naval Advisories
  • Disseminate approved Naval Advisories throughout the Fleet and NSWCPD Command
  • Maintain a detailed record of all advisories that have been established and disbursed
  • Routinely coordinate with Government program managers and engineers to capture ongoing requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High school graduate or GED; graduate of a military school that provided an in-depth knowledge of naval shipboard systems maintenance and operation; or be a graduate of a trade, industrial or correspondence school for engineering.  HS and 9 years work experience or College Degree and at least 3 years work expeirence.

 

Required Experience/Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the design of Navy ships to include hull, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with either the Navy, government activities that support the Navy, and/or contracted activities that support the Navy.
  • Familiarity with the Navy’s ship support technical community to include but not be limited to the Systems Commands, Warfare Centers, Regional Maintenance Centers, Naval Shipyards, Supervisors of Shipbuilding, and fleet activities.
  • Familiarity with Naval Ships maintenance, modernization, and casualty reporting programs.
  • Familiarity with the Navy’s correspondence policy including but not limited to letters, messages, technical documents and electronic correspondence systems.

Have an active SECRET DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
