We are opening Consultant Recruiter role on our high-performing and collaborative Talent Acquisition Business Partner team.  The position will be flexible with respect to work location within the U.S., with the ability to be 100% remote if desired. 

 

Priority duties will include:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine candidate requirements, and review advertising and sourcing options.
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting of professional and technical positions, both in a cleared and non-cleared environment.
  • Responsible for staffing strategy to identify key-personnel, development of candidate pipelines, incumbent capture, and business intelligence.
  • Identify future talent needs and pro-actively recruit and source for new-business opportunities.
  • Participate in proposal staffing calls, reviews
  • Manage a high volume of requisitions at all levels.
  • Take lead role to establish and implement a proactive recruitment strategy for program initiatives, creating a pipeline of candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Develop effective working relationships with hiring managers and staff, clarifying and understanding requirements and business needs.
  • Drive the hiring process:  actively engage with managers, provide ongoing status of requisitions, advise managers through the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Network and maintain productive working relationships with team members, business line colleagues, and candidate market contacts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies, educating hiring managers as needed.
  • Maximize recruitment technology in sourcing and tracking candidates and applicants.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years OR total of 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree. 
  • A strong passion for recruiting and building excellent teams through full lifecycle recruiting of top candidates  
  • Proven ability to source and network using both conventional and unconventional sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates.
  • Effectively use of applicant tracking system 
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge and understanding of OFCCP employment guidelines and employment law.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to travel to the Virginia and DC offices as needed

Desired:

  • Previous experience with iCIMS 
  • Experience supporting government or federal contractor recruiting initiatives. 
  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance. 
  • Knowledge of different contract types and developing hiring plans.
  • Clear understanding of the Business Development lifecycle, key milestones, decision gates and where staffing interfaces.
