Integrated Logistics Support Manager

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Product Manager of Army Watercraft Systems (PM AWS) with the Life Cycle Management of the Army Watercraft Fleet through engineering and safety analysis, design support, technical support, configuration management, maintenance engineering, quality assurance, integrated logistics support, test asset installation, program management, new equipment training, milestone documentation, obsolescence management, and business case analysis.

 

This position could be based in Hampton, VA, Huntsville, AL, or Warren, MI; or it could be REMOTE.

 

Noblis MSD is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Manager..

 

Responsibilities would include:

• • Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
  • Create moderately complex excel spreadsheets to track part data used to drive decisions related to Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Equipment installations for Army Watercraft
  • Use government programs and tools (Power Log J 2 (PLJ2) and Compass) to upload tracked data into relevant Government Systems to support logistics product data updates
  • Research part data using LogiQuests to identify the most current National Stock Number (NSN) or Part Number (P/N) for the required material and best-value sources of procurement. If a part is not in LogiQuest, research and produce Engineering Data For Provisioning documents.
  • Read and interpret Army Watercraft Technical Data Package Drawings in order to identify equipment configuration and parts list items
  • Determines maintenance and repair materials required for field service maintenance. Develop and maintain FMECAs, LORAs, MTAs, and LSAR 004 Maintenance Allocation Charts. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.
  • Produce reports and Excel spreadsheets from PLJ2 for government review in order to identify provisioning errors prior to provisioning.
  • Maintain work within an approved folder structure located on a secure server and network. Comply with all network security requirements.
  • Function as an integral member of a team and lend assistance to team members as necessary. Attend required meetings and calls in order to ensure work is completed on time and within required guidelines.
  • Travel up to 10%

Bachelors and minimum 5 years of related experience - Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors (Associates Degree and 8 years of related experience or HS Diploma with 11 years of experience)

 

Preferred experience:

 

Understanding of the Army Logistics Lifecycle and provisioning documentation requirements

Independent development of LORAs for Army Systems

Developed and published technical manuals in Arbortext and IADS

Familiarization with MIL-STD 40051 and MIL-STD 1388

Development of technical manuals, to include operating procedures, repair procedures, and troubleshooting preventative maintenance checks

Conducted crew familiarization training on Army systems including instructor guide development

Provided quality assurance reviews and guidance for logistics products development

 

Not required, but beneficial:

 

Technical working knowledge of Army Watercraft and associated systems including Logistics Support Vessel (LSV), Landing Craft Utility (LCU), Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM), Tug Class Vessels, and Maneuver Support Vessel (Light)

• Begin developing relationships one level up and two levels down. Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope beyond current deliverable and actively share information about clients’ emerging support needs and trends with team members and management.
· Participate on proposals
