Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineering Support to US Navy Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office (PEO)

The successful candidate will provide electrical engineering support for the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E), Command Control Communications Computers & Intelligence (C4I), and mission equipment and systems for the Navy PEO.  The management scope includes on-site support in concept studies, feasibility studies, preliminary design activities, contract design activities, detail design and construction activities, independent design reviews, in-service ship design and engineering activities, shipboard installation support, and special studies related to US Navy ships, boats, and craft.  The variety of Navy ships, boats, and craft may include Combat Logistics Force (CLF) ships, special mission ships, and foreign military sales assets.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
• Secret Clearance
• Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process)
• Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
• Supervisory experience
• Shipbuilding experience

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer License
• 15+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
• Experience in Foreign Military Sales
• Experience with Military Sealift Command policies and procedures
• Experience communicating with Program Managers

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
