Responsibilities

As an Advanced Skills Management (ASM) Database Coordinator, you will:

 

  • Create user accounts
  • Check crew members in and out
  • Enter and update Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS)
  • Assign qualifications / grant accreditations / enter certification for crew members
  • Prepare and submit periodic status reports and
  • Conduct Advanced Skills Management (ASM) Database user training for PRECOM crews.

Qualifications

Required skills and knowledge:

  • Prior Advanced Skills Management (ASM) Database experience
  • Associates degree plus a minimum 4 years; 10 years’ experience accepted to meet degree requirement.
  • Prior Navy experience
  • Knowledge of navy ranks and ratings
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability to Maintain Secret clearance

 

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • Familiar with Navy detailing systems
  • Well versed with major Navy databases such as FLTMPS
  • Prior experience with Ship Pre-commissioning periods

Client Engagement

Onsite direct engagement with LCS Crew members and LSCRON staff.
