Senior Windows Systems Administrator - Active Directory

Interested in joining our multi-disciplinary digital forensic team to enable and enhance our Department of Justice clients? In your role you will work with multiple teams to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments for national security missions spanning infrastructure development and management, systems engineering, and administrative management which are transforming the way law enforcement and the intelligence community handle and analyze information and translate it into actionable intelligence.

 

You would join Noblis’ Law Enforcement Programs division as we continue to grow our capabilities. Today our team consists of developers, scientists, engineers, researchers, and analysts that have served federal, state, and local government clients on the most difficult high-consequence problems in analytics, biometrics, AI/machine learning, encryption, and forensic science for over 20 years. Our team is engaged across the law enforcement and intelligence community and has been instrumental in making our customers’ programs successful in analytics, automation, and digital solutions spanning identity science, AI/machine learning, computer vision, biometrics, forensics, media analytics, systems engineering, software development/integration, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Modify group policy to maintain the domain
• Deploy new configurations during site builds
• Automate deployment tasks
• Configure and Troubleshoot name resolution problems in a split brain environment
• Harden resources using group policy
• Maintain health of deployed AD technologies
• Review AD technologies and recommend improvements for mission enhancement

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors in system administration, information technology, computer science, or computer engineering plus five (5) years experience administering active directory components. OR, in lieu of education, eleven (11) years of experience in designing, managing, administering, documenting, troubleshooting, and
  supporting Active Directory components within IT systems in both production and development environments.

Desired skills and knowledge:

• Experience in Active Directory versions 2016, 2019, and 2022
• Group Policy administrative experience
• DNS administration
• Active Directory Certificate Services/PKI experience
• Maintaining an AD environment with PowerShell

*This position is eligible for a Remote/Hybrid role based on a case-by-case basis and with the customer approval. 

• Begin developing relationships one level up and two levels down. Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope beyond current deliverable and actively share information about clients’ emerging support needs and trends with team members and management.
