Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.

 

Nobis MSD is seeking a Program Analyst to support a rapidly growing, critical U.S. Navy test site. The selected candidate will contribute to numerous aspects of the test site’s development, including but not limited to financial tracking, schedule planning and tracking, procurement support, and technical brief and presentation development. Duties and Responsibilities to include the following:

  • Provide weekly and monthly financial tracking in Excel to the test site’s Program Manager (PM) and Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) in addition to providing a weekly financial status via weekly drumbeat meeting
  • Develop monthly status report presentations/briefs in Word and/or PowerPoint to assist the test site PM in deliverable requirements to the test site’s sponsor in Washington, DC
  • Assist in developing procurement related documentation and track overall procurement statuses in an Excel sheet, reporting out to the test site’s PM
  • Participate in critical meetings related to the test site, assisting with setup, minutes (Word), and action item tracking (Excel) for reporting the test site’s PM and TPOCs
  • Assist in various programmatic support requests as tasked by the test site’s PM
  • Work with Microsoft Office Suite (special emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Assist PM and Customer Advocate with data calls as requested by TPOCs and/or Program Sponsor in Washington, DC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field and at least 4+ years professional work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Project)
  • Attention to detail and meticulous record keeping and analysis (organizational skills are critical)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines without incurring undue risk or degraded quality
  • Ability to work independently after some guidance and instruction
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills – position requires frequent communication with senior U.S. Navy civilian personnel.
  • Successful applicants must either have an active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
  • Familiarity with financial tracking / analysis for DoD programs is a plus
  • Familiarity with Primavera scheduling software is a plus
  • Experience working with, or familiarity of the U.S. Navy and various ship hulls and engineering terminology is strongly preferred but not required
