The Nuclear HM&E Lifecycle Analyst will provide Nuclear Propulsion HM&E support to CVN Aircraft Carriers assigned to Commander, Naval Air Forces Atlantic (COMNAVAIRLANT)/CNAL. 

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, analyze data received and provide short and long term recommendations in order to ensure material readiness of CNAL CVN aircraft carriers.
  • Provide direct nuclear propulsion HM&E experience support to CNAL staff in the review, analysis and brokering of CVN carrier maintenance equipment issues. 
  • Review and validate, sort, screen and provide feedback to respective CVN ship workcenters on CSMP jobs submitted to ensure information is correct and inclusive in order to broker work items to repair activities. 
  • Support communications and briefs to senior naval officers and civilians with regard to shipboard systems and equipment status and provide recommended coures of action to repair. 
  • Analyze and evaluate the information in the Navy Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD) to include them as candidates for maintenance availability work package inclusion and execution. 


  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with direct involvement with Naval Nuclear Propulsion on-board aircraft carriers with 10 years gained through direct operation experience. 
  • 15 years of experience of strong knowledge in Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) equipment and systems for aircraft carriers to include analysis and evaluation of the CSMP and making recommendations for brokering maintenance actions to Maintenance Program Managers. 
  • 10 years of experience communicating with and briefing senior naval officers and civilians. 
  • 15 years experience in overall technical, management, development and integration experience with Naval work package integration and work package execution for aircraft carrier repairs, maintenance and modernization. 
  • 10 years experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Products and specific strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint and be able to develop and maintain spreadsheets. 
  • Degree in relevant field - experience may be considered in lieu of degree.


Active SECRET Level security clearance required.
