Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  Noblis MSD is looking to hire a Systems Analyst to support the US Navy out of the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

 

Noblis MSD is looking to hire a System Analyst for our Philadelphia office. The analyst will:

  • Prepare detailed specifications from which code will be written
  • Confer with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements
  • Write and update technical documentation such as users' manuals, product specifications, and training materials
  • Perform a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyze test results, and correct problems
  • Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Collaborate with customers, project leads and developers to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel - developing code, creating macros and designing charts and graphs
  • Experience with relational database design, analysis and implementation
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Assist team in generating complex analytical reports
  • Must possess problem solving skills and be proactive in researching solutions
  • Work with internal and external customers as necessary
  • Must be clearable to attain secret clearance

Client Engagement

· Learn about and support Noblis’ client engagement, corporate values, and corporate strategic priorities, including providing input to proposal writers.
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals.
· Participate in the proposal process by providing input to proposal writers.
