Take on the challenge of Digital Engineering transformation. Noblis ESI is seeking a Systems Engineer with mission assurance, lifecycle readiness, or validation and verification experience for their Chantilly location to:
-Serve as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned teams and programs/projects:
-Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities
-Lead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, and PMRs
-Collaborate with Digital Engineering team to integrate MBSE-based processes
ensuring analysis and feedback of operational data is provided to programs through various working groups
-Assist in the roadmap and implementation from traditional system-to-system architecture to a SAFe Agile-based and Model-Based System Engineering approach
-Serve as technical expert in their assigned area
-Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, cross tower coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers
-Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
Noblis ESI is seeking a Systems Engineer with mission assurance, lifecycle readiness, or validation and verification experience for their Chantilly location
-Experience in Project and Systems Engineering, with emphasis on Government acquisition in DoD or IC
-Possess strong Systems Engineering discipline with mission assurance, lifecycle readiness, or validation and verification experience
-Experience working space and ground programs from architecture-definition documentation (ADD/CONOPS) through requirements derivation and allocation, performance metric generation and assessment, test case development, and requirement closure tracing
-Experience with trend analysis for root cause of failures and anomalies
-Experience writing test strategies, plans, procedures, and checklists; and executing tests, analyzing data, and summarizing results
-Experience in system integration and transition approaches to accommodate the End-to-End GEOINT, SIGINT or COMM mission threads
-Experience creating and maintaining capability integration roadmaps and schedules
-Experience in assessment of requirements and schedule changes through Request For Change (RFC) reviews
-Ability to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily
-Track and respond to office tasking, build, and present program briefings, and update project schedules and calendars
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned
-Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously
-Expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgment
-Must be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building and management skills
-Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
-Experience in transitioning policy, standards, guidance, methods, dashboards, and training to a digital engineering environment
-Analysis of processes and practices, identify improvement opportunities, and implement identified improvements
-Familiarity with the IC and NRO enterprise architecture, DOD's space architecture, and Statement Of Capabilities and Enterprise Capability Document line items
-Knowledge of Electro Optical, RADAR, SIGINT, Communications, Mission Management, and Mission processing systems supporting a space and ground architecture
-Experience generating and validating inter-segment and inter-system interface requirements for major space mission systems
-Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering
-Working knowledge of and demonstrated experience with change management processes
-Certified in one or more of the following: INCOSE (or DAWIA equivalent), OMG Systems Modeler, Agile, Project Management, MBSE
-Capable of achieving an OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Intermediate certification
-Experience with RDNG/DOORs requirements database management/repository, Rhapsody, SysML applications, Confluence, Jira, or JSMART
-Understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).
-Ability to operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and brief senior level Government leaders, civilians, and military officers
-Be able to travel
