Noblis is seeking to hire a Configuration Manager with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI in Warner Robins, GA.


The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is a weapons system which produces military intelligence collected by systems such as: the U-2 Dragonlady, RQ-4 Global Hawk, and MQ-9 Reaper.  It consists of computer hardware and software connected together in a computer network, devoted to processing and dissemination of information such as images.  The successful candidate will support the program office during the system life cycle to include efforts that support or contribute to improved performance of the organization; program/project management; engineering process and technical management; project monitoring and reporting; data collection; performance auditing; administrative technical support.

  • This position requires high creativity and motivation with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
  • Lead projects with minimal supervision, displaying strong follow-through and initiative.
  • Applies engineering principles to acquire, implement, design, develop architectures, and maintain integrated computer systems.
  • Maintains a continuing cyber engineering knowledge of state-of-the-art development in hardware and software, their individual characteristics, capabilities, operations, and limitations.
  • Assists in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new or ongoing development projects.
  • Provides technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT capabilities projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing systems.
  • Identifies opportunities that can improve efficiency of Mission Operations and IT processes.
  • Direct and perform all necessary audits and maintenance activity to ensure service levels are sustained, and that systems are optimized and not compromised. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
  • The position includes developing and testing new products, troubleshooting complex system issues, interpreting work orders to program various systems, and resolving escalated issues.



-Must have and maintain an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

-Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or Associates degree and 7 years of experience or HS Diploma and 9 years of experience

-Experience in Project and Systems Engineering, with emphasis on Government acquisition in DoD or IC

-Ability to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily

-Analysis of current processes and practices, identify improvement opportunities, and implement identified improvements

-Track and respond to office tasking, build and present program briefings, and update project schedules and calendars

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned

-Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously

-Expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgment

-Must be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building and management skills

-Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph


Desired skills and knowledge:

-Experience in transitioning policy, standards, guidance, methods, dashboards, and training to a digital engineering environment

-Experience in requirements verification and validation

-Experience with requirements management in an MBSE tool to include requirements traceability and verification

-Understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).

-Analysis of current processes and practices, identify improvement opportunities, and implement identified improvements

-Working knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle

-Experience with systems engineering techniques and documentation.

-Certified in one or more of the following: Agile, Project Management, MBSE

-Have a basic understanding of intelligence disciplines (i.e., SIGINT, GEOINT). 

-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and brief senior level Government leaders, civilians, and military officers
