Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  Actively recruiting for a Systems Administrator to support our Navy contract in Philadelphia, PA.



Noblis MSD is looking to hire a Systems Administrator who will be responsible for:

  • Manage multiple VMWare ESXi environments including virtualized Windows and Linux systems
  • Manage associated physical networks including: Cisco, Netgear and Hirschman switches.
  • Ensure all systems are configured in accordance with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
  • Ensure availability of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) research and development (R&D) infrastructure by remediating all system issues and outages.
  • Tracks operating system patch levels and firmware releases for all R&D lab assets.
  • Maintain and report system Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) status and issues in compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Designs automated build templates for CentOS Linux, Kali Linux and Microsoft Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline using OEM solutions including Kickstart/PreSeed Templates and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).


The candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university, or equliviant work expeirence.  


Candidates will have at least seven (7) years’ experience administering a Microsoft Windows domain Active Directory environment and should have extensive knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration, and integration, backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with an Active Directory environment. Experience should demonstrate familiarity with Active Directory environments and Two Factor authentication for authorized system access, as well as demonstrate familiarity with application and system transfer procedures to other DoD-approved hosting facilities such as Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Computing Services Directorate (CSD) or SPAWAR System Center (SSC) Pacific (PAC) Data Center (DC).

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
