Noblis MSD has an immediate opening for a C4I Network Test Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver assigned portions of C4I System of Systems test strategy, schedule, infrastructure and test artifacts, primarily for End-to-End tests and Application Integration/Systems Integration Test (AI SIT) events
  • Work with various components of the CANES system to include virtualization, storage, networking, workstations, and servers in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Take part in and/or lead test events for parts of or the whole CANES system
  • Write test reports and provide corrections and red lines to engineering change requests as outputs to test events.  Develop assigned portion of end-to-end test plans, test procedure, daily status report, and quick look report
  • Conduct network troubleshooting to isolate the source of issues found during testing
  • Maintain the baseline state of the systems through patching and maintenance activities
  • Account management

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering  from an accredited university, plus 5 years of relevant work experience. An additional 6 years may be substituted for a Bachelors' degree.
  • IAT Il CSWF current compliance including IA and technical certifications
  • Test and evaluation background
  • Understanding of networking concepts and testing, specifically OSI layers, OSPF, Multicast, GRE/DMVPN, UDP/TCP/SIP/RTP protocols
  • Experience with Cisco Router and Switch configurations and equipment
  • Prior experience in writing test plans, test procedure, test reports
  • Knowledge in network test tools such as Spirent TestCenter/Avalanche, Wireshark capture with nTAP devices
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) technical status and updates to the C4I Team leads
  • Good understanding of configuration management principles
  • Background in Agile development methodologies
  • Well-spoken with strong writing skills
  • Current Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certification or ability to obtain
