Responsibilities

Interested in joining our multi-disciplinary team working with clients to design and disseminate capabilities and solutions to the most challenging problems in Vulnerability Analysis, Encryption, and Data Science? In your role you will work with various teams to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments for various national security missions that are transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle and analyze information and translate it into actionable intelligence. This multi-faceted opportunity might be right for you. 

  

You would join Noblis’ Law Enforcement Programs Division as we continue to grow our capabilities. Today our team consists of developers, scientists, engineers, researchers, and analysts that have served federal, state, and local government clients on the most difficult high-consequence problems in analytics, biometrics, AI/machine learning, encryption, and forensic science for over 20 years. Our team is engaged across the law enforcement and intelligence community and has been instrumental in making our customers’ programs successful in analytics, automation, and digital solutions spanning identity science, AI/machine learning, reverse engineering, encryption, systems engineering, software development/integration, DevOps, and cloud technologies. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Apply mastery of the Risk Management Framework (RFM) process;
  • Define, configure, and execute vulnerability and compliance policy in accordance with enterprise security requirements;
  • Apply strong working knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) security controls, securitytechnical implementation guides (STIGS) requirements; 
  • Apply knowledge of operating systems and network to aid implementation of information security
  • Assess current and evolving security threats in an operational environment
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, Network/Hardware/Software certification and accreditation, IA Policies and procedures, and network IA/Security tools
  • Apply methods such as encryption technology, vulnerability analysis, and security management standards to protect systems and applications
  • Prepare System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to ensure compliance with government security policies, procedures, and requirements 
  • Assess security controls and identify vulnerabilities within IT infrastructure
  • Perform system audits to assess security related factors
  • Maintain system accreditation and personnel certification documentation
  • Assist with analysis of user requirements for IT networks, hardware and software applications and create certification and accreditation package for the appropriate Authorizing Official
  • Prepare Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation, using standards such as Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP), National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP), Director of Central Intelligence Directive 6/3 (DCID 6/3), Common Criteria, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-50
  • Produce effective written and verbal communication skills in presentations and reporting of systems to security leadership
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and government client personnel

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Education   

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field of study

OR 

  • High School/GED AND 9+ years’ specialized experience in lieu of degree

AND  

  • Experience as an Information System Security Officer, ISSE, or ISSM evaluating system, network and infrastructure security controls against requirements such as Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), NIST, or similar guidelines
  • Capable of independently completing all required system accreditation paperwork to obtain an Authority to Operate, Authority to Connect (ATC) or Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and/or maintain above authorities; and assurance principles
