Responsibilities

Interested in joining our multi-disciplinary team working with clients to design and disseminate capabilities and solutions to the most challenging problems in Vulnerability Analysis, Encryption, and Data Science? In your role you will work with various teams to design, develop, deploy, maintain, and migrate solutions in multiple environments for various national security missions that are transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle and analyze information and translate it into actionable intelligence. This multi-faceted opportunity might be right for you. 

  

You would join Noblis’ Law Enforcement Programs Division as we continue to grow our capabilities. Today our team consists of developers, scientists, engineers, researchers, and analysts that have served federal, state, and local government clients on the most difficult high-consequence problems in analytics, biometrics, AI/machine learning, encryption, and forensic science for over 20 years. Our team is engaged across the law enforcement and intelligence community and has been instrumental in making our customers’ programs successful in analytics, automation, and digital solutions spanning identity science, AI/machine learning, reverse engineering, encryption, systems engineering, software development/integration, DevOps, and cloud technologies. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Conducts continuous monitoring of security configurations through pen testing and log analysis 
  • Develops technical solutions and security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Apply SIEM and analytics solutions (Splunk, ELK, or similar)
  • Conduct technical writing for formal penetration test reporting and analysis documentation 
  • Apply knowledge of IPS/IDS, and EDR 
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and/or ethical hacking 
  • Assist in engineering and deployment of critical security analytic services including, IDS/IPS, EDR, and SIEM solutions  
  • Apply understanding of network concepts, including analyzing and the troubleshooting of network traffic 
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and government client personnel
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Education  

 

Junior-Level - Analyst 

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field of study. 
  • Industry security certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CSIM), Security+, or similar certification is preferred. 
  • Knowledge/experience with basic security analysis principles 

 

Mid-Level - Analyst 

  •   Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field of study. 
  • At least 3 years of experience as Security Analyst / Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker in a corporation, Government, or service firm. 
  • At least 2 years of experience of networking experience, including analyzing and troubleshooting of networks. 
  • Industry security certification such as CISSP, CSIM, Security+, or similar certification is required. 

 

Senior Level - Engineer 

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field of study. 
  • At least 10 years of experience as Security Analyst / Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker in a corporation, Government, or service firm. 
  • At least 2 years experience of networking experience, including analyzing and troubleshooting of networks. 
  • Industry security certification such as CISSP, CSIM, Security+, or similar certification is required. 

 

 

Client Engagement

· Learn about and support Noblis’ client engagement, corporate values, and corporate strategic priorities, including providing input to proposal writers.
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals.
· Participate in the proposal process by providing input to proposal writers.
