Government Client Mission Program Summary:

 

The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program works cooperatively with allies and partners to reduce or eliminate WMD threats. The DoD’s CTR Program is implemented by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in alignment with the 2017 National Security Strategy, 2018 National Defense Strategy, and the DoD Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Strategy. The cooperative nature of the DoD’s CTR activities yields a secondary benefit of strengthening regional alliances, deepening existing partnerships, and attracting new partners.

Role Description:   

Noblis is looking for a Quality Manager to support our Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) team working in CTR’s Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) department. Responsibilities for the position may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Develop and manage quality management program to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure quality advice and assistance services and deliverables
  • Develop and implement knowledge management practices to ensure consistent organization of information to support program quality
  • Coordinate with technical writer to ensure deliverables align with client style guides and messaging
  • Identify and implement processes to enhance coordination and communication between teams to facilitate high-quality delivery
  • Regularly assess quality and implement mitigations where deficiencies are identified
  • Serves as daily interface to client Science Manager and provides scientific expertise across scientific domains relevant to cooperative threat reduction.

 

Qualifications

Required skills and knowledge:

  • 3 - 10 years (MA/MS or BA/BS degree) or 9 years (No degree)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in quality program management
  • DoD SECRET clearance.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the U.S. government on areas concerning national security.
  • Familiarity with biological or WMD threats.
  • Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion.
  • Flexibility/adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
