Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking a Systems Modeler to support the development and integration of systems engineering models for U.S. Navy programs. The candidate will:

  • Virtualize environments to develop data models that capture data flow between shipboard equipment/devices and subsystems for the purpose of performing threat/vulnerability analysis and assessments.
  • Develop and apply information extraction algorithms to engineering documentation and artifacts and create workflows from data sources to engineering models.
  • Contribute to the development of shipboard ontologies and frameworks.
  • Understand and develop project requirements in support of modeling efforts.
  • Provide engineering analysis of system models as required.
  • Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques including but not limited to SysML, Magic Draw, and/or Cameo in support of modeling efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.

Minimum of three (3) years'  systems engineering experience.

Prior experience with MBSE tools such as SysML, Magic Draw, or Cameo.

MBSE certificaiton such as Object Management Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional is a PLUS, but not required.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Exellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Problem solving and analytical skills

DoD Secret Clearance required, or ability to obtain one.
