Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced Senior System Architect with experience in developing system design and model-based engineering using commercial tools in the development of technical solutions.  Candidate will work with experienced team in research and design of new capabilities to support afloat platforms.


Duties include:


  • Support architecture development using modeling languages (i.e., SysML, UML, BPMN, etc.) for systems, subsystems, and components design
  • Support requirements decomposition analysis to help drive conceptual architectures and system characteristics
  • Support development and maintenance of interface requirements and interface design information for assigned sub-system, system, and components using modeling languages (i.e., SysML, UML, BPMN, etc.)
  • Support the development and management of subsystem and component level performance specifications by managing requirements in a model diagram or requirements repository
  • Support the creation and maintenance of requirements traceability in the system model or requirements repository

Client Engagement

· Support and lead evolving business development efforts by applying technical and functional expertise to develop business solutions.
· Lead proposal sections for small or limited competition proposals and actively participate in teaming strategy discussions


Required Skills:


  • Advanced knowledge of systems engineering and architecture practices and techniques
  • Advanced experience in the development of model-compliant Use Cases, aligning to Sequence and Activity Diagrams
  • Advanced experience in the development of Behavior and Structure Diagrams
  • Advanced experience in the implementation of parametric data used for Parametric Diagrams
  • Detailed Experience with modeling tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw NoMagic, Sparx Enterprise Architect, etc.)
  • Experience with model frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, MODAF, UPDM, etc.) and the ability to guide development of various AF views/viewpoints using model-compliant diagrams and elements
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORs, JAMA, etc.)


Required Experience:


  • Bachelors in Computer Science w/ 8 years in Senior Systems Architect or Lead Engineer role 
  • Intermediate-level certificates in systems modeling and engineering with demonstrated leadership for teams developing complex models Certification equivalency include: OCSMP-MBI and/or INCOSE CSEP
