Responsibilities

Noblis MSD Technologies is seeking an Electronics Technician.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Install, configure, and test computer networks to include both hardware and software with assistance
  • Hardware includes, but is not limited to, routers, switches, servers, inline encryptors, and modems
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity problems with some assistance
  • Run and trace cables
  • Attend technical meetings
  • Assist with the development of technical briefs
  • Update technical documentation as directed

Client Engagement

· Learn about and support Noblis’ client engagement, corporate values, and corporate strategic priorities, including providing input to proposal writers.
· Build a productive relationship with your client and understand their structure and goals.
· Participate in the proposal process by providing input to proposal writers.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

 

  • Familiarity with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway (BGP) routing protocols
  • Hands-on experience configuring interfaces, routing protocols, and security parameters on Cisco networking devices
  • Cabling installation and troubleshooting
  • Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time and project management skills
  • Secret Clearance required

 

 

 

Required Experience:

 

  • HS & 2 years of in an industry trade school or civilian college in electronics (completion of an appropriate military “A" school and completion of at least one appropriate military “B" or "C" school may be substituted for the two year requirement)
  • 5+ years recent NC4I(S) or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and de-installation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides and ducts, while using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes
